The funniest part about all of this is if you actualy see the "hit" on film you can see that Demps was going for the ball and didnt really hit him.There was contact no doubt, but it wasnt even an all out hit.What a joke.

I just watched the "hit". I mean did he even touch Shockey ? I watched it over and over like 20 times (THANKS TO COMCAST DVR!) and I didn't see the apparent hit. It was tough how he and another DB dapped eachother up after the hit like they were practicing for their in game celebrations !

Did anyone hear the ESPN version of the story? Apparently, Shockey said that the hit wasn't that serious, and even with a concussion, he's better than 90% of the tight ends in the league...

Maybe he just gets concussed easily. Perhaps his brain is too small for this caveman-like skull, so any little hit caused it to bounce around in there like a superball.

I can just picture Shockey's brain bouncing like a superball all the time. Sorta like those little kid toys with the balls inside a dome, and you push them and the balls bounce around.
