Did anybody else notice that Marine One, one of 19 Marine helicoptors assigned to the President, circled the field today at the scrimmage? It took one lap around and headed Southwest. I did manage to get a couple of pics, one with FedEx Field in the foreground.

Man, I had such a blast today!

(ok, who drives the purple Subaru from PA?)

I think I saw Marine one fly by RFK during a Nats game earlier this year. I swear someone hit a HR right after that and they lit off some fireworks like they always do. I remember thinking that couldn't have been worse timing.

I should have went today but I was too hungover this morning.

I was trying to go today but my family is short on cars because my mom got into an accident last week and we couldn't get a ride. My dad was unwilling to pay for a taxi to take us to the franconia-springfield metro station.

I don't. I like this guy, but that guy...not so much.

Seriously though, I'm just looking out for him. I don't want him turning on Comcast at 8 only to see CFL action

I thought it was pretty cool, so I took a picture of it.

I read somewhere that Air Force One/ Marine One should not be called such unless they are on presidential detail at that time. Meaning, don't call it AFO unless the President is on it, and don't call it MO unless the President is on it, or it is one of the choppers in the formation (where one is carrying the President). Or, maybe I dreamt it.

Argh. I *thought* I was taking videos today, but apparently you have to hit the record button (who woulda thought it?) and not the regular 'take a picture now' button. It's a shame, really, because this new camera takes amazing videos. I thought I was taking a video of Gibbs's speech to the fans after the scrimmage. Argh.

Air Force Two is the name for the plane the Vice President is flying on. Really they're just air traffic control signals.

So, if by some crazy chance the President decided to hop on Southwest Airlines flight then that wouldn't be known as say Southwest Flight 225, but instead it would be Air Force One

True. When Nixon resigned, the plane that carried him to San Clemente, California took off as Air Force One but became SAM 27000 somewhere over Missouri when Ford took the oath. Way off the football topic, but I couldn't resist. (SAM = Special Air Mission - I think)
