Seriously guys!!! What's with the doom and gloom!?! Look how much better the Skins are playing than last season... oh wait. Well, look how they've opened up the offense since preseason... ummm. But hey, Brunell looks like a Pro Bowler in Al Saunders' vaunted offensive system... uhhh.

Well at least the defense is still top tier... dammit!

Hmmm... well if being realistic makes me a bad fan, then so be it, but what does blindly buying into the billion dollar hype machine, that is the Washington Redskins make you? Some of us are just sick of the same BS we've been hearing for the last decade, that THIS is the season that Washington will get over the hump. Whether it's by buying 100 million dollars worth of free agents, or turning over coaches every other year, the result is always the same. So pardon me if I don't drink Snyders Koolade.

That's the idea. The responses are actually more positive than I would have expected based on the other posts I've read in which some of you guys sound completely hysterical. Take a deep breath.

Those old enough to remember (or able to read a press guide) know that Gibbs has often started slow. The real season starts after Halloween. If we can get there near .500 we'll be in business.
