Re: Can We Bench Brunell Now

I don't even watch their games anymore. Because I find it waste of time but, I do listen on the radio. I was so frustrated on Sunday that I threw my radio across the yard in disgust. Everthing about this team sucks!!!!!!!!!! Everything!!!!

Joey Harrington took over because Culpepper was hurt.

Re: Can We Bench Brunell Now

It is not Brunell's fault, the defense is letting Henry run for 1000 yards. Saunders is calling the plays and not any running plays.

I say put in Campbell against Indy, and tell him not to be afraid to throw deep. He surely has the arm to do it, and what do you have to lose when our season is slowly slipping down the gutter. Even if Campbell over throws on some passes, throwing deep will make the defence actually respect the pass, and allow CP to break some good-sized runs for us.
Exactly!
Watch the KC teams of the past couple years, screen passes were not the game, you can't tell me it's Saunders. The problem is Brunell not having the balls to open up the field. He is not embracing Saunders system.
At this point I am hoping Brunell hurts himself enough to get out of a couple games and let Jason Campbell run the show and see what changes occur. If Brunell doesn't get hurt, it's hard to imagine Gibbs giving up on his qb.

Brunell wasn't really harassed by the Titans pass rush. There were a few roll-outs, but that's about it.

For all the lock-step Brunell defenders, I keep asking these questions: Is the O-line playing horribly, so much so that Brunell has no chance to find the open receiver? When the team commits to the run, are they having problems running? Did Moss, Randle El, Cooley and Lloyd suddenly forget how to separate from their defenders? If not, then what's the common denominator here?
I am loving this...been saying all this for 2 years...finally poeple are speaking up.... GOOD POST....
