| Realistic Expectations Campbell is an athlete. He proved it at Auburn. He's a BIG QB and fairly mobile for his size. Redskins.com has him listed at 6'4 228. That is one hell of a big QB. Realistically let us just ask for a fair/good performance. Rabach, Samuels, Jansen and Dock block for him and give him a couple of seconds in the pocket, then we should see some good things. Tampa has their "cover 2" always in effect. Tampa is no slouch, even if their record does not say so. Campbell has a very difficult game/team to start his career against. Personally I do not expect any miracles, much less a stellar game from him. What I want to see is OUR Skins give him good protection and let him make some spontaneous choices. Even if JC has a horrid game I'm still with him. I'm with him for the next 7 games Period! "Jaws" said that we should start Collins and that this is way too much pressure for JC. At 3-6 how could this be too much pressure? If Jaws was the coach and would start Collins then why not keep with Mark? Let JC play and see what happens....We did not draft him in the first round to hope for a flop, did we? I'm with JC for the next 7 games no matter what, and if anybody starts calling for MB or TC to play then I do not what you have been smoking, but it's made in a lab. Put your heart with JC or else you undermine him. The guy is a big, smart, mobile and daunting QB when we all get behind him and give him the reigns. GO GET SOME JASON! Hail 44 |

| Re: Realistic Expectations If JC doesn't win the next 7 games I hope we go get Ramsey back from the Jets. I think HE is the future of the Redskins.

| Re: Realistic Expectations he's accurate, which is useful in the NFL hopefully we can see his deep ball some, since that seems to be his strength.

| Re: Realistic Expectations Damn anything better than a 2 yrd dump off on 3rd and 8 like Brunell does all the time. Or completing 3 passes in a row for negative yardage like ol Brunell. Maybe JC will step up in the pocket like a pro QB not like Brunell who always keeps backing up and up. Anything better than what we have been getting. Looking forward to seeing the ball thrown across the line of scrimmage too. |
