ok 3rd Id i apologize for calling u a jackass it was done in a drunken stooper and it was a poor choice of words u do have a perfect right to your opinion i wasnot trying to aggrivate u or the board i can only hope u forgive me for my potty mouth even though i felt thaT this thread was done in poor taste knowing all/most of the folks here on the "warpath" r jg fans everyone is entitled toa mistake now and then....even me

i like gibbs running the whole show but when he leaves i dont want williams or saunders running the whole show. i would really like to see a brand new coach from a good system. they are having tons of suceses. (not a college coach). but a hard ass style like coughlin or a john fox style.

Patience is very important, true. But if it took them this long to figure out that brunell wasnt the guy, how long is it gonna take them to build our defense properly???????? I'm worried about the current DEVELOPMENT system we have in place .

This thread is a joke. Are people that inpatient? Gibbs is the best thing to over happen to the Redskins! I hope he stays for 2 more years and beyond. I can't think of a single person I would rather have coaching are team.

why does it take an outsider( non skins fan) to realize the luxury the skins have, with an established, hall of fame coach. just flip back a few seasons and remember the likes of terry robiskie,Steve spurrier, and the other imposter's we have had coaching our team.it might not happen this season, but coach Gibbs will have the skins winning again. he will do whatever it takes, even if that means hiring a general manager

Gibbs is fine as the coach , 2 more yrs or five more years . What we need is a GM who will make all final decesions on player personel , then it would be up to Snyder if he is willing to accept the terms of the contract ,, $$$ . I hope gibbs coaches 5 more years , but I do not think this team will be competative without a new gm . We all love coach , but he will trade the ranch for one guy and that just does not work with the cap . DALLASS SUCKS

Listen, we all need to focus on whats more important,that we get some team chemistry. Granted, Gibbs is an old coach, and hell probably run things the way he always has. And looking at his sucesses, that isnt too bad of a situation. I personally think Gibbs is an amazing Coach, but he has to work with what he has. For the past few years the redskins have been operating as sole individuals with all star talent to hold up the team. We need to hold the same team for a few years. We need to have a reliable QB, and recievers that can work well with that QB (im not too worried about recievers at the moment). Most of all, we need a team that knows each other and can work like the well oiled machine a team should be. Joe Gibbs is not who we should be blaming, he should be the LAST one we point the finger at. He's done a great job, as he started with a vey mediocre team, and got us to the playoffs last year. this year, things didnt go so well, but i have full faith that Joe Gibbs is able to turn the team around. right now what we need is, well, a team.
