| Re: McNabb Out For The Season While I feel bad for McNabb and the Eagles players, I feel no remorse for any misery brought upon the Eagles' fans. Couldn't have happened to a better group. |

| Re: McNabb Out For The Season Torn ACL this late in the year not only does McNabb in for this year but also next year. I would not expect McNabb to be ready and effective until December next year. |

And shoot the f****ing refs too. F***ing pieces of sh*ts. And f*** Andy Reid. F***ing shoot him then shoot him again. F***. "

| Re: McNabb Out For The Season They say 8-12 months from what I heard. I mean Culpepper tore his around this time last year (might have been early November) and he's definitely not healthy yet.

| Re: McNabb Out For The Season 8 or 9 months is the typical window for recovery. I would expect him to be ready for the season no problem. |

| Re: McNabb Out For The Season I do feel bad for mcnabb, but he'll probably rest pretty comfortably on his mattres stuffed with money while he gets better. I have a friend who's an electrician with 2 kids (his wife is a teacher... incredibly underpaid) who just tore his knee all to shit and cant work. That guy, I feel bad for. He cant work and his pay gets cut tremendously because of disability....

He'll be ready by the opener and will all be deluged with teary-eyed SportCenter features about how much courage and fortitude it took for him to make this amazing recovery. (Pam Oliver: Was there ever a time when you thought you might not be able to play again?) It's the same story they do on Donovan every year. Rush Limbaugh was mean to him. T.O was mean to him. He's always overcoming something that is peripheral to the actual game. I'm sorry for his pain, but the media's bizarre treatment of him is just... bizarre. Do a story about someone else. Anyone else.

| Re: McNabb Out For The Season I question in sports today if atheletes arent rushed back from injury and doing too much before they're ready. I've seen a lot of repeat injuries, and even more injuries where a player is never the same. I have a feeling clubs/trainers arent exactly patient with these guys, it doesnt get as strong as it could be, and causes problems such as this.

| Re: McNabb Out For The Season Ready and effective is what I said. And 8-9 months is not the typical window for recovery. A year is typical and even if he heals at a miraculous pace--and is ready in 9 months--his effectiveness will suffer. For every Carson Palmer, there are many more Dante Culpeppers or Ahman Greens or Trent Greens, in the world of knee repair... |
