| Re: Big contracts = big pressure You guys are missing the point. No one is saying we should feel sorry for these players, or that we should let them off the hook for underperforming. It's just crazy to pretend that the pressure of playing in DC hasn't impacted their performance. I mean, Carter basically says, yeah, the pressure got to me. Again, that's not an excuse, but if we are to begin to map where this season went wrong, the unrealistic expectations, and the weight associated with that, has to be considered as a major factor. |
