Re: Now Mr Aikman shut up

Eh if they had scored a touchdown then it would have been the wrong decision and this forum would be alight with millions of posts saying "WTF was Gibbs thinking" and "The man has lost his touch" and "The game has passed him"

Come Hell or High Water Gibbs will make th ecall to the best of his ability for what the situation presents and you have to trust him and the defense.

that guy is just a total idiot, but since he played for dallas,i can see why he's so antiredskin.despite being a cowboy hall of famer,i think aikman is pretty fair when he calls redskins games.personally,i think he is the best analyist calling nfl games today.

Re: Now Mr Aikman shut up

The FG to go up 16-10 was absolutely the correct call. That forced the Saints to go the length of the field, something they couldn't do all day.

True, but they would've had to have done the same if we had went for it and didn't get it.

I agree with you about Aikman, and I wish some of what he has would rub off on his former teammate, and current colleague in broadcasting Moose Johnston.
