| Re: ( Merged)Skins Interested in Luke Petitgout Thanks, is it odd that the giants draft him in the first round, then convert him to guard then to tackle, then switch the side he plays on? Or is that something that happens often? The more i read about this guy, i am starting to get the impression that he might be a jack-of-all trades but a master-of-none? Still stick by my previous post tho.

| Thanks to SmootSmack for correcting my very obvious mistake on Dockery's origin to the Skins... I do remember he was considered a project at the time they got him, but how they got him I was dead wrong about. I must have confused him with some other practice squad pickup from that year. Fortunately, with the Skins' current trend of trading picks away, it should be less likely that I'll confuse which of our players were actually drafted by us. The real challenge will be to keep track of what players other teams draft from picks that the Skins have tossed overboard (Jets traded our former 2007 2nd rounder [#37 pick] to the Bears for Thomas Jones and another pick today). Back to the original point, I don't think vet minimum is a realistic price for Petitgout. But anyway you look at it, he should be more affordable than the Dockery, Davis, Steinbach and Dielman contracts. |
