Jason just called from his car with this:

The Redskins have signed Corey Bradford, a 6-1, 200-pound wide receiver. He's a depth guy, not guaranteed to make the team, but with Santana Moss coming off injuries, it's probably prudent to pick up a guy with that kind of size.

Bradford is a 10-year veteran who appeared in nine games with Detroit last season. Before that, he'd spent four seasons each in Green Bay and Houston.

I don't know that it's as much a depth signing as it is a signal to B Loyd. Like a lot of warpathers, I'd like to see Espy make the team, but I can't argue w/signing a solid vet that has good size & hands.

Seriously, his rap isn't that bad... I just checked out Brandon Lloyd Official Website - Washington Redskins and listened to a couple of his tracks. It's well produced, and his sound isn't unbearable...

I mean, shits krunk. Listen to "Heavy"... it's pretty funny.

Good one. The thing that worries me is that people almost never change. I don't ever remember a player who disdained physical contact the way Lloyd does, getting over it. It seems to be deeply ingrained in some people.

Yawn, a depth signing.. If he makes the team as a 4th or 5th WR good for us. He's no threat to Lloyd, Randle-El or Thrash..

I mean, we've talked about this a lot and it's pretty much a consensus that his attitude is definitely a reason for major concern.

I officially jumped off the "I hate Lloyd with a passion" bandwagon some time ago, but I'm still not convinced he was a good addition. When stuff like "He's not coachable" is being said by teammates, it's not a good sign.

possesion, speed, hands, good routes?

I have no clue on him....anyone watch him play?
His numbers suggest he's a number 3 receiver.
