So it looks like he sort of won out and got more money than he probably should have based on where he was picked. I hope it was worth those 2 weeks of preparation.

LOL! I bet Tripp's bedroom is loaded with stat spreadsheets dating back from when Sonny was playing qb with the Eagles, and the walls are covered with Mark Brunell and Brady Quinn posters.

ps. I'm just playing with you Tripp so don't get all bent out of shape.

Yep. But that goes for the Browns too if they hadn't been tight-asses about it.

It's kind of reminiscent of the 19-day holdout from Heath Shuler. Seems like he was never able to recover from that.

Good for Brady Quinn.
Now we can see what he can actually do.

Does anyone know who is scheduled to be the actual starter for the Browns?

Well, it probably would have been him, but now everything I'm reading says Anderson and Frye are going to fight it out. However, if they don't play well, Quinn could see some action later in the season

I think every rookie QB should sit for a little while, so this might actually help his progression.

I think 4 mil a year for him is a steal. Good for quinn holding out for the incentives, now his contract could be worth 6 or more a year if he performs.

This is why you need Mentos. To justify your questionable problem solving skills.

That's funny.

But GTripp is right in his thinking Quinn is going to be a good QB. He has all the physical tools, all he needs is the coaching now.

The Browns are such a mess still. Almost worse than the Lions.

They're not even close. The Browns are on the right track. Next year they will be above .500, and could contend with .500 this year.
