Bonnie Bernstein blows both Kolber and Stark out of the water...

Tirico and Kornheiser both think they're the smartest men in broadcast history, but nothing could be further from the truth. Tirico is even worse at golf than football for that matter (not good at either one). Kornheiser is one of the most overrated sports media figures today, I'm not all that sure he always knows what he's talking about either. I like Jaws alright and I wonder if Joe Namath would still like to kiss Suzy?

Re: Can we make this a Michael Vick free zone?

Some of you guys really crack me up.
I am pretty sick of hearing about Vick too, but you know what I do? I stop going to the threads that talk about him. (wow, it's magic) When I feel like hearing about what going on with him I then go to those threads.
if you don't like talking about him, then don't go to the threads. It's a whole lot better than going to the thread and bitching about the fact that there is a thread that exists that you feel the need to post on even though you don't want to talk about it!
It's the Howard Stern theory. If you don't like him, then turn the freakin knob on the radio to someone else.
If you don't like fantasy football, should we close our fantasy football section on this site cause you don't like it? How self centered are you?
IGNORE IT PEOPLE!

Here's the problem: while I'm sick of hearing about That Certain Former Player I did (for example) want to watch the game last night for other reasons. It would have been really hard for me to have changed the channel and actually get to see how Carson Palmer looked. I supposed I could have muted the TV and put on some music or something but whenever I do that I lose interest in the game quickly, which is ironic because having to hear Mort talk about That Certain Former Player for 12 minutes straight also makes me lose interest in the game.

Now, as for here on TheWarpath, I completely agree with you and I've been in this argument before. I will NEVER understand why some people feel the need to post things like "this thread is stupid" or "why is this thread still going on." Just ignore it if you don't like it.
The beauty of a site like this is that you basically have the freedom to pick and choose the content that you see. If there is something that you want to talk about odds are that you can find someone to discuss the topic with. At the same time, if you're when watching a game on TV you rarely have that freedom.

Not to be a smart ass and I see your basic point, but I find it ironic that you are suggesting that people ignore threads that annoy them, but are complaining about about this trhead instead of ignoring it. Sorry for being an ass, but I had to point it out.

Well we're not going to get into a debate about this. You've made pretty clear how you feel about the network repeatedly. You don't like it, don't watch.

I've actually heard that there might be some truth to that.
