Think Taylor Is Just A Quiet Person???

Sean didn't want to speak to the media yesterday....but the way he did it...its almost as if he's a "shy" person. I know he's a little upset at the media, but even before the agent thing he seemed quiet. I've seen him talk Ish on the field, so maybe thats just his game personality. Hope hes not Ricky Williams again. I like sean (from what i know)...let me make it clear, im not bashing him.

Seems like he is a bit shy when it comes to talking to the media. No big deal. Just because he's quiet doesn't mean he's a headcase like Ricky. He's young and still feeling his way around, I'm not worried.

He's just learing his way around right now. He is probably still a little pissed with the media for the whole rookie synamsis thing. Sean Tayler was always knows for his passion and Miami, don't worry about this kid.

I think the big difference is that the players (Lavarr, Portis) seem to be reaching out to him - so hopefully he'll develop a support network with some of the other guys on the team that will prevent him from going backpacking in Asia a month before the season begin.s

listen to his first press conference, he's not that shy I think he just doesn't like the media or the negative attention. He signed autographs for a lot of people, but refused to answer any questions while doing so.

He lets his game on the field do the talking for him. I like and respect that kind of player.
After a few good wins and a few pick offs, Taylor will warm up to the media as time goes on. Winning makes everyone forget any bad feelings.

OK, off-subject question about Taylor...

Is he wearing #37 or # 36???

Yesterday, he switched jerseys with Rufus Brown for the practice back to 36... Is that for good? Or was it just for the day? And if just for the day... why??

I'm trying to put together a whole new group of MADDENSKINS wallpapers for you guys... and I'd like to know his ACTUAL NUMBER this year! hahaha

It is not unusal for new players to switch numbers right up to the first regular season game. As players (especially veterans) get cut, a new player unhappy with his assigned number might find his favorite number suddenly become available.

Oh, yeah, I understand that... just curious to this switch because Rufus Brown has been around all off-season... Taylor was #36 for a while, then switched to #37, and yesterday switched with Brown again, back to 36.

I was just wondering what his roster number is and will be and also wonder who asked to switch.

I don't know about you guys but I hope sean take 36. I think that number just looks good on him. It also would complement lavar's 56 nicely in my opinion.

Right! and Portis' 26. I wonder if Taylor didn't speak because he was afraid people might ask him about the KWII situation out in Cleveland

especially a talented player coming from Miami Univ., lol. It's not like that school is really known for introverted people.

But I think right now he's still a little cheesed about the way the media treated after the rookie snafu and maybe he's worried about having another prank pulled on him while he's talking to the media and is keeping his guard up, lol.

Just want to take a moment and defend Ricky Williams. Why is he a bad person or have mental problems b/c he walked away from a game/job that has already made him set for life ? If his wealth is managed properly he will never have to worry again about money. If he had stayed in the NFL he would have been suspended for God knows how many games or maybe even the season, been on the cover of countless rags and been harassed and made fun of on all the late night talk shows (okay he may already be there.) Why should someone have to endure that for smoking marijuana on his own time in the offseason. Do you know how many people smoke marijuana in the US alone? Recent estimates put it at 25 million!!!!!

I met and worked with him last year on some tv spots and I was totally impressed by this gentle giant. He was totally in shape and ready for the season with no hint of pro athlete arrogance or holier than thou crap. He really seemed to be together.

Frankly I really admire what he has done. Basically he has told the NFL to stuff it, How much money does the NFL make off of Ricky Williams yet they were all set to ban him from the game for some unspecified amount of time. I like the way he turned the tables.
