| Re: Police Detain 4, Look for 1 More (Shooter Confesses, Video of Assailants, Motive) Check out these videos http://video.ap.org/v/Legacy.aspx?g=...g=copy&f=flmih In the column under Local News, click on the first and third thumbnails about one of the suspect's family responding to the arrest (the second thumbnail is Sean Taylor's dad) But this is what really got to me, listen at the 1:45 mark of the "Suspect's Family Speaks Out" video. You'll see the suspect's mom on her cell phone and she says "They say that Sasha paid them to come to the house and do that." First of all, who's "they" and secondly is she saying Sean Taylor's sister (half-sister) paid these guys to rob Taylor's house?!

| Re: Police Detain 4, Look for 1 More (Shooter Confesses, Video of Assailants, Motive) All those who have said or suggested that Sean's murder was the result of "his past catching up with him" need to offer a public apology and acknowledge how completely wrong they were. I also wish that folks would not fall in to the trap of speaking about the killers as though they were victims too. Why is it necessary to pretend that Taylor's death and the fate that awaits these awful men are somehow part of the same pathology? Taylor died a hero defending his girlriend, his baby, and his home. He died righteuosly and with honor. These others are filthy predators who need at the very least to be locked away from the rest of humanity so that their contempt for simple decency can no longer terrorize society. If people are wondering how you begin to turn the tide on violent crime, I say begin there. Let us make our contempt for this human effluence loud and clear. Let us hold Sean Taylor's final moments up as a model for how real men behave, and let us never, ever confuse the two.

Rivera is a juvenile, but I believe his case could be bound over to Superior Court and he would be tried as an adult. One thing I don't like about Florida law is that they only apply Second Degree Murder to everyone involved except the one who actually pulled the trigger. In NC, we have an element in our laws called "acting in concert", which means if you were involved in the offense, you are treated just as if you committed the murder yourself. It's still too early to say what exactly these individuals will be indicted with. If this get to trial on a first degree murder charge, I doubt if a jury will recommend the death penalty. Mostly because of the defendant's age. | |

I didnt know this because I never use myspace but I was gonna leave a piece of my mind with them. On Wardlow's page there's a comment from some girl saying that she doesn't think he did this, she saw his face on the news, and free her friends blah blah blah. They should all be castrated!!!!! |
