| sorry to think this but...replacing sean taylor i know no one wants to think about his but the FS position is clearly a need now. No one on our active roster is capable of taking over, other than Landry but hes our SS. Do we draft a safety or pick up a free agent? Kenny Phillips is "the best saftey in college" by a lot of scouts and guess what. hes from The U. Reading his reviews everyone seems to compare him to Sean Taylor for his size. 6'1-220. with the speed of Reed. all the same terms apply that did to Taylor. Ballhawk, Hard Hitter, Smart player. So do we draft him or is it too weird to take a player so similar so soon? http://www.nfldraftdog.com/images/Kenny%20Phillips.jpg

| Re: sorry to think this but...replacing sean taylor I'm not totally against getting another amazing safety prospect, but Chris Long from UVA should definitely be on the radar.

| Re: sorry to think this but...replacing sean taylor I think the way we saw how having a player like Sean in the game can change an offensive plan its hard to pass up on someone that may be a similar player but Long is a stud and a dominant guy on the D-line would be great. |

| Re: sorry to think this but...replacing sean taylor I don't know man... he seems good and there's another safety prospect out of LSU thats good, though I think he's a sophomore this year... I still don't know if safety is one of our most pressing needs. I think line is the way to go. Imma hope if we wind up with a top pick again, that we can pick up chris long

| Re: sorry to think this but...replacing sean taylor A month ago, I said Long would be "long gone" by our pick. The way this season has gone since then, we might be in the running to get Long, or even the safety from The U. |

| Re: sorry to think this but...replacing sean taylor I'm thinking this is the area of greatest need. Maybe we can pick up another safety in the draft, but we have almost zero pass rush at this point.

| Re: sorry to think this but...replacing sean taylor I want another big hitting, game changing, ST type player...if there is one of those available...we need it...remember, we planned our entire D around Sean Taylor (so they say)...his absense leaves a large hole in the def. my wish list for the draft is in the early rounds is Safety, D-line, and O-line.

| Re: sorry to think this but...replacing sean taylor Exactly...have we all not had enough of no penetration? I think it has showed us we need some good players on the line, especially DE. Carter is not good enough to get double teamed every week and be productive.

| Re: sorry to think this but...replacing sean taylor Seriously...what the hell did the skins do to deserve this bad luck? The freakin cowboys were a bunch of thugs and druggies and they have had a better history of luck. The Pats cheat, and they won 3 super bowls and likely on to their 4th. We are an honest and respectable team and we have shit for luck!
