| SI: Favre Sportsman of the Year SI.com - 2007 Sportsman of the Year - 2007 Sportsman of the Year: Brett Favre - Tuesday December 4, 2007 12:14AM Not too bad of a choice IMO. He's had a good year.

| Re: SI: Favre Sportsman of the Year Jimmie Johnson deserves some recognition for his year. Nascar wants to integrate the sport by adding a playoff format, and he completely dominated his post season even more than Josh Beckett did his. What about Barry Bonds?? haha |

| Re: SI: Favre Sportsman of the Year You could practically give it to Tiger Woods every year - to win 5+ events, plus one or more majors EVERY year is astounding. Favre is a nice choice. I honestly thought his days of leading GB to the post-season were long gone. He has made it work with far less weapons than Brady, Manning, and Romo. |

| Re: SI: Favre Sportsman of the Year I think Brett Favre was a great choice. Everyone was questioning him for coming back last year and he really shut them up this year with an excellent performance. I still love watching him play. |

| Re: SI: Favre Sportsman of the Year Ditto. Favre is probably my all-time favorite non-Redskin. Just love the swagger that he plays with, and unlike Brady, he comes across as just a regular guy with the mentality of a linebacker. |

| Re: SI: Favre Sportsman of the Year the same Federer that lost to old man Sampras? Bonds would have been the choice if he had one ounce of personality. he gets what he deserves. Farve is a good choice
