| Lorenzo Alexander appreciation thread Great find by the front office. Offense, defense, special teams, he literally does it all. I just wanted to throw some love his way. |

| Re: Lorenzo Alexander appreciation thread Yeah, Alexander does deserve some recognition. And he moves pretty well for a 300+ pounder. I actually chuckled a bit when they had him going in motion on offense. |

| Re: Lorenzo Alexander appreciation thread Yup. I'm with the groupthink on this one. Solid find who seems to improve as the season goes on. I wonder if he will spend his career as "everyone's backup" or if he will move into the starting line-up somewhere (either as part of a three man DT rotation or as a starting guard).

| Re: Lorenzo Alexander appreciation thread He's done what he has to do to stay on the 53 man roster, and his flexibility to play both ways and on special teams assures that he will have a roster spot going forward. And he's played well, which makes it that much better. Just hope he remembers to keep his helmet on when making tackles...

| Re: Lorenzo Alexander appreciation thread I've heard it said that Alexander is the strongest player on the team. Offensive and defensive coaches probably see the guy as a project with long term potential, but it's pretty cool that they have found a way to utilize his talents on offense, defense, and special teams. |

| Re: Lorenzo Alexander appreciation thread I love the upside on this kid, here's some info. from when he played at Cal. The guy can run a 4.8 40 that's pretty impressive for a big guy. Player Bio: Lorenzo Alexander :: Football |

| Re: Lorenzo Alexander appreciation thread gotta love this guy, even if at this point he's a "jack of all trades, master of none" as someone just said. It will be interesting to see if the coaches feel he's got enough potential to develop as a DT that they don't draft at that position this year. He gets more playing time on the o line. With his speed, he'd be an ideal pulling guard. Seems that they have a lot of confidence in his blocking ability. I think having a guy like this on the team is very good for morale too. He plays on both sides + teams & that should help team chemistry. |
