| Re: Roy Williams Suspended 1 Game For Horse Collar He's done it so many times that I simply don't believe that he's not trying to hurt people. The man knows what that kind of tackle can easily result in, but he does it again and again. I was actually pissed when I saw him do it last night.

| Re: Roy Williams Suspended 1 Game For Horse Collar He has never been a good safety IMO. His coverage skills sucks he is out to hurt people with those tackles. I feel LL is a better safety than RW.

| Re: Roy Williams Suspended 1 Game For Horse Collar And he still gets voted into the Pro Bowl on name recognition alone. Even most Cowboys fans know he's not very good. Every time I watch the guy play he attempts about 4 horsecollar tackles at a minimum. My only explanation is that he has done it so many times that he is unable to change his ways, it's pretty crazy.

| Re: Roy Williams Suspended 1 Game For Horse Collar Every game of the roids I've seen this year, RW has used his "patented" tackle technique. About time the league got serious.

| Re: Roy Williams Suspended 1 Game For Horse Collar I think Roy Williams is an even dirtier player than Rodney Harrison, and I didn't think that was possible. Hopefully the Cowboys are beginning their implosion now. I was not sorry at all to see that Romo suffered that thumb injury to his throwing hand. Hopefully we'll get one against Minnesota next Sunday, and then beat the heck out of Dallas the final week to get into the playoffs. The team looked really good against the Giants last night, and hopefully it's just a sign of things to come! We're back baby!! |

| Re: Roy Williams Suspended 1 Game For Horse Collar Funny how after the tackle RW was SHOCKED to see he was being flagged. I guess he thought because he tapped the upper arm/shoulder first it was ok to grab the collar however no matter where you grab first on the body or jersy if you pull someone down backwards like that has proven to cause injury...thus the rule. Looking at the Hamlin hit I would venture to say he did not get the flag because he turned and tried to hit with the shoulder first. As you listen to the announcers they spell it out for you. You can't hit a WR like that while in the air unprotected. I'm betting a fine will come of it. Why no penalty cause the Refs were to busy not trying to trip over the EAGLES Kicker on the sideline. lol. |
