| Antwaan Randle-El - the best non-QB passer ever? Alright, I'll admit up front that this is a weird one, but it's interesting nonetheless. According to Pro Football Reference, ARE is 17-21 for 235 yds and 3 TDs for a rating of 152.9 (!). Ladainian Tomlinson is the only other guy even close, and while he has a better rating than ARE (154.4) he's got about half as many attempts (11). | Re: Antwaan Randle-El - the best non-QB passer ever? The late, great Walter Payton threw a pretty sweet ball for a running back. Somebody mentioned Tomlinson, but most of his TD passes have been gimmes in the red zone. Payton AVERAGED over 30 yards per completion with 8 career TDs |
