| Re: Roy Williams Filling in for Sean Taylor in Pro Bowl I hate to say this, but I personally think Roy Williams feels quite honored to be selected to fill in for Taylor. I read somewhere that Willimas said he was looking for Taylor on the sidelines after the first game in Dallas to encourage Taylor to take care of that knee. Williams aint my favorite player, but he damn sure plays hard every down. |

RW has done nothing this year but make an ass of himself, continually horsecollaring his way to mediocrity. If he didn't play for the Cowboys, he wouldn't even be among the top half of the league in votes at the safety position. I can think of 5 more deserving players, easily.

Had no idea Williams said that. You know, many of these guys have a ton of respect for each other away from the grid iron. Without knowing for sure, I really believe Taylor had a lot of guys around the league that really respected him for the way he would bring it on Sundays. Conversely, and it has nothing to do with this thread, that's why Philip Rivers jawing is leaving a bad taste in peoples' mouths after he was talking smack last week. | |
