Re: Redskins Exploiting Sean's Death?

What a little piece of shit. I would still be grieving if my friend had died a little over a month ago. It is the same season. Is the team supposed to say; Sean is dead, that is over, move on, and don't talk about it? That is stupid. Who is he to say how people should grieve. Mother fucker. I feel like e-mailing that asshole everyday for a few weeks. You have to remember that football players are people. Its not like everything that happens in their life revolves around football and this is most definitely one of them.

Re: Redskins Exploiting Sean's Death?

Would he question a family who continued to hang a stocking for a deceased relative every Christmas? Does he laugh when people get the initials of a dead friend tatooed on their arm? Does he think Christians are exploiting Jesus for wearing crosses?

This guy is such an ass.

I saw that too. I don't know if they are representative of Seattle's feelings, but why say anything? Both individuals are so glib that it really makes me hate the Seahawks with a burning passion. The game just became even more important for me. Hopefully the Skins feel the same way.

The Farnsworth comment really took me back. I almost couldn't believe what I had just heard. That's more than a lack of class. This team is mourning, and playing for their teammate.

Was he trying to be funny? Who knows. It just seemed like the comment came from way out of left field, and was sort of a stab at Bram's meaningful and accurate representation of how this team is feeling.

I sent Farnsworth an e-mail regarding the comments re: Sean Taylor. I basically said it was a classless act. I received the below email message from Clare a few minutes ago.

"You're right, Dylan. I wish I could apologize to everyone, and not just you, for my callous comment. ... clare"

And if that's a sincere email, why not write back and tell them to put their money where their mouth is and actually write an apology on the site?

Looks like the dissenters have made their way into the Tribune comments board, crapping on the Skins already.

Well I'll give the guy credit for apologizing. Sometimes people say thing which they think are funny then when they have a chance to reflect on what they said realize how much of poor tast it was made.

Re: Redskins Exploiting Sean's Death?

You guys should see how they're having a field day with this on the Seahawks message board. Here's a quote from one of their members:

maybe if Jason Cambell or Portis gets killed this week they will get inspired to win out all the way through the superbowl.

Re: Redskins Exploiting Sean's Death?

Yeah, i looked at that message board. It really surprises me that every fan board is full of assholes.

This site is honestly different. We wouldn't dare say some of the things they say over there. Other skin fan boards might but this one wouldn't.

I've been reading some of their stuff on the message board. Turns out some of their fans are huge assholes, especially in that "Number 21 on helmets" thread.

I think their fans come in number 2 behind Eagles fans. I can't read anymore of that message board for the fact that it's terribly upsetting.
