Good points. It seems as though as Fassel never smiles, but then again neither did Marty. And Spurrier was all smiles, so you never know I guess

I think they're on their way to Phoenix to interview him. They're probably in Phoenix already. I think they were heading there from Indy, last I heard

I think they were talking about the actual job being in D.C., not the interview.

LOL, I can see it now.

"If Mooch runs the West Coast offense does that mean that we'll elect to kick on opening day?"

"Should the Redskins bring back Ramsey to run the WCO?"

"Will Mooch be able to handle Lavar when he comes back?"

"Are we the Miami Dolphins?"

"This sucks"

"Green eggs or Mooch?"

"Whos better at life JLC or Oprah."

"Super Sad bummer thread"

All right I'm out.

I don't doubt you, but Redskins Radio also claimed Fassel was going to be announced as head coach last week

On a related note, Bram endorses The Mooch

Covering The Redskins: January 30-- Time for an endorsement

Yea the not so reliable Redskin Radio in the Hampton Roads area you never know. But being I do believe its down the stretch to him or maybe one other candidate I would not be surprised one bit if Mooch is the next HC next week.

Don't know if anyone already posted this but Josh McDaniels just signed a 1 year extension with the Patriots and is no longer available for the Redskins head coaching position - found out watching Comcast Sportsnet after the Caps game tonight - sorry I don't have a link - just passing along info.
