| Why isn't Bobby Beathard in the HOF I didn't want to start a new thread, but. Why isn't Bobby Beathard in the HOF? He's been responsible or involved for 7 SB, going back to when he started in KC, Miami, Washington, SD. Here's a guy that's way overdo.

| Re: Why isn't Bobby Beathard in the HOF The Pro Football Hall of Fame has a membership that is heavily tilted in favor of offensive skill players. There is a disproportionate absence of offensive linemen and tight ends and defensive players and kickers and General Managers and ... That's why Bobby Beathard is not in in the HoF.

| Re: Why isn't Bobby Beathard in the HOF For Beathard to get in he would need a strong group of people backing him. This means more than just Gibbs and Shula promoting him. Saying that, as time extends, it seems as if the coaches are often credited for the entire win and the GM just becomes a reference. Besides, I don't think there ever has been a GM who wasn't an owner or a coach at some point as well. |

| Re: Why isn't Bobby Beathard in the HOF I started doing some research and that is definitely a good question. I do not know why he is not in the HOF. I believe he should be. On a side note: check out his son's bio on wikipedia: Casey Beathard - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Impressive family |
