| Re: Brady will be a no show in the ProBowl They should take away recognition of selection if they choose to opt out and not travel to the Pro Bowl. The only thing hurt on that guy is his ego.

| Re: Brady will be a no show in the ProBowl Come on guys... He did have an injury before the superbowl and he did take a pounding during the game. most importantly, he is probably going to bang Giselle senseless for the next month, he needs to conserve his energy. |

| Re: Brady will be a no show in the ProBowl I kind of agree with you. See this is where Peyton Manning gets it. I remember after the SB last year he said that as long as he is voted in he'll always show up to the Pro Bowl. He could've not showed up after they won the SB but he still came and played. I like Brady but I think he is wrong here. Both he and Moss owe it to the fans and NFL sponsors that pay their hefty salaries to show up and play. |

| Re: Brady will be a no show in the ProBowl i totaly agree with you and SS. i really don't get all the hate people have towards brady. like you said matty, plenty of players don't go to all star games (in all sports) for various reasons. i also think brady's leg was and is hurt more then he let on. oh well, people need to understand the difference between cockyness and confidence.

| Re: Brady will be a no show in the ProBowl I understand many players don't go even though they are not injured but u can't tell me that if they won the superbowl at least Moss, and most likely Brady, wouldn't have been there trying to rack up the stats. Both of those guys are ego-maniacs... I'm not saying that he is an asshole for this and its probably pretty justifiable to not celebrate in Hawaii after that kind of a loss. But let's call a spade a spade, cuz he isn't skipping out so his body can heal or so he can get some extra vacation time. He doesn't want to be at that kind of a venue and it is a form of sulking/mourning.

| Re: Brady will be a no show in the ProBowl My man Joe Theismann played after the Skins got pounded by the Raiders in '83 and proceeded to get the Pro-bowl game MVP. If he only he could have played like that in that SB, oh well.

| Re: Brady will be a no show in the ProBowl With the no-tackling, horse collaring, getting burnt all day long Roy Williams replacing potentially the best safety ever in the pro bowl, I am boycotting it altogether. Its a glorified popularity contest. Besides, the AFC coach probably doesnt have tapes of the NFC team, so Brady wouldnt do very well anyway.

| Re: Brady will be a no show in the ProBowl Thats right Brady go cry while you have sex with your Brazilian Super model, and play with your kid with the awesome genes, and watch the....tapes of the other three super bowls you won, and and ****. Being Tom Brady isn't really that bad.

Just wait for the 08 season to start and he goes on another streak, everyone will be on his jock again. One thing I've learned about many so called sports fans today, "When you're winning they're humping you, when you lose they dump you. | |

| Re: Brady will be a no show in the ProBowl Why is everyone so down on Brady? I get the Bellichick stuff, but Brady seems like a pretty decent guy. He's never (to my knowledge) called out his linemen like Peyton Manning after a crushing upset loss, or publically criticized his front office for failing to get him adequate weapons like Favre and McNabb. He's consistently been at his best when the pressure is turned up (which includes the Superbowl, where he was stuck with an incoherent offensive strategy and no help from his offensive line, yet never lost his composure and actually gave his team a lead his defense should have protected). He was a sixth round draft pick who excelled threw mental excellence, nerves of steel, and hard work. When does he ever whine about anything? You want to see a whiner, go read about Joe Montana. |
