I am not going to this... but I felt it deserved a bump

Warpath,

We're staying in Kent Ohio which I was told is 24 miles away. Maybe we could all get together at happy hour or something on Friday night. I have a package with the 'tailgate' party included for both the Ceremony and game.

My birthday is August 4th, this could be a dream come true. I need to figure out how to swing this expense. Maybe G.W. Bush's $600 check will pay for it!

At an event like this with tons of skins fans around we need to wear WP gear! I gotta check out the store and make sure to get a Tshirt to wear around Canton!

I wish my schedule would allow me to go. My son will be in summer wrestling and not sure when or where tournaments will be. Guess got to be patient and wait for regular season.

I kind of like the idea of the old timers suiting up and playing. They could wheel Sammy Baugh out and I bet he could still sling it farther than either Kilmer or Jurgenson. Just a chance to actually see Charley Taylor or Larry Brown running down the sideline would be a treat. We would need a doctor for every player of course. My prediction: Moseley toes a 45 yard fieldgoal with 5 seconds left to embarrass Jim Sorgi and the 3rd string Colts 27-24...Joe Washington and Monty Coleman named Co-MVPs.

I've had mine for months but I bought a package deal. We need to compile a list and keep it updated on where everyone is staying so that we can try to have a WP party.

Man i wish i could afford this, my birthday is during the trip even. But the $$ I would spend can get me to 3 games at Fedex. Second thought maybe I will just book Darrell green to play golf one day from his darrell green enterprises website.

Ellicott City
Greenbelt
Leesburg VA
Hagerstown
Gaithersburg

I'm seriously considering this if I can convince one of my buddies to go (or the girl which is highly unlikely).

i'll be heading to michigan that week, convinced my girl to drive down to Canton ! I'm a little gun shy on getting tickets to the HOF ceremony ... anybody have a good link or site .. i've looked on ebay and stubhub but they seem to only have seats really far away from the stage .. either way .. what's the status on a Friday night party ???

How much would it cost if one were to try to get on now?

Re: Pro Football Hall of Fame Trip August 1-4, 2008 Monk & Green Induction & Skins vs. Colts Game

This is the place I bought my package through:
Sports Travel and Tours: Road Trips, Sports Tours, Sports Trip, Sporting Events, Sports Ticket Packages
We bought the 'Fantasy Football' package for $375 per person. It includes:

Admission to the Hall of Fame
Two days admission to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Good any day: August 14, 2008
Official Commemorative Yearbook
The 3rd Annual Commemorative Pro Football Hall of Fame Yearbook

Saturday, August 2, 2008
Timken Grand Parade
Reserved seat to the Parade
Enshrinement Celebration Fan Party
Admission to the Exclusive Party: Before the ceremony fans enjoy a private celebration in a tent on Hall of Fame grounds inclusive of food, beer and fun!
Enshrinement Ceremony
Preferred Reserved Sideline Stadium Ticket to the Enshrinement Ceremony

Sunday, August 3, 2008
Enshrinees GameDay Roundtable
Reserved seat at the Luncheon
Fan Appreciation Tailgate Party
Admission to the Exclusive Tailgate: Football fans, before the big game get the party started in a private tent located on Hall of Fame grounds with traditional tailgate food, beer and fun!
NFL Hall of Fame Game (Indianapolis vs. Washington)

Probably paid more than buying tickets individually but seemed much easier and less of a hassle to just buy it all in a package. Leaving Friday and coming home Monday and we are driving. We can't wait.

Exclamation Re: Pro Football Hall of Fame Trip August 1-4, 2008 Monk & Green Induction & Skins vs. Colts Game

Is anyone selling any extra tickets to the Hall of Fame game? My dad and I have our tickets for the induction and our hotel room but we still need two tickets to the game.
I've looked on eBay and stubhub and as of right now they cost a little more than I really want to spend. Obviously, if it comes down to that weekend and I have to spend $100 a ticket I will, but I'd rather find some for a little less if possible.

One way or the other, I'd still like to try to meet up with people in Canton because it's going to be a GREAT weekend.
