| Is former 'skin Derek Smith worth signing? I think he could be good depth and could replace Godfrey if he chose to follow Gregg Williams to Jacksonville. Im not sure what he would be worth although im sure many will guess "Vet Minimum". What do you guys think? Niners cut longtime leading tackler Smith

| Re: Is former 'skin Derek Smith worth signing? linebacker speed which is an empahsis right now would take a huge hit and second smith is a mlb and a runstopper not a quick and agile mlb like we have now that fits the mold for a team that likes to execute the tampa 2 defense. |
