Roy Williams (WR) for a 2nd Round Pick?

Normally, I don't like the fact we tend to get rid of our picks for stuff like this.. but Roy Williams... damn! that's what we need.. a big receiver..!

What's the deal with this though. Why is detroit trying to unload him? It seems to me that he and CJ make a pretty potent team and a huge benefit to any QB they start.

I guess they feel he's expendable because they like the combo of Mike Furrey and CJ and they are happy with their depth, and perhaps they feel that they can give him away for a draft pick because they have other issues on the team they'd like to address.

I would assume that is what it is.

LOL! But for a 2009 pick and we keep our picks this season. I would defintely do it.

i don't understand why everyone is jumping all over Williams for a second round pick. when Hall is available, for a first rounder, and far the more proven player. is there that much of a difference between the 2 picks? in my opinion, we need a corner far more then we need a wide out. and i think there is more to Williams just wanting out of Detroit

yeah we need a corner and a WR not sure which one is a more needed thing right now
