| Re: Salisbury Done at ESPN Jeez, did they have to fire him? It's not like he was going around showing his penis to female coworkers. |

| Re: Salisbury Done at ESPN salisbury had other incidents with women from what i recall... dick vermeil would have been the best choice for replacement. not "in your face," but he's also not retarded, which is a huge plus.

| Re: Salisbury Done at ESPN By the way, just to be clear Cris Carter being signed to ESPN doesn't necessarily mean he's replacing Sean Salisbury. Think of it as Carter is simply being added to the roster. Carter will be pretty busy right off the bat but that doesn't necessarily mean that'll be the case come September. I don't think Vermeil is interested in any extended TV work by the way, TG

| Re: Salisbury Done at ESPN We've got to give ESPN some credit. They do produce some damn good shows and do employ some pretty outstanding individuals, such as John Clayton and our very own Smootsmack. I don't care for Carter either, but let's not throw out the baby with the bathwater. |

I wish we had done better than Carter but he's just one person here. And who knows, he may surprise us all.

On a positive note, I think Jaws is the best in the business so it's not all bad.
