| Portis or Westbrook? Both are different types of backs who both are the backbones of their teams. Would you rather have Portis or Westbrook? If you really want, add Marion Barber. Personally, I'd kill to have Westbrook as a skin. Close, but westbrook would be a little better, especially with the WC offense.

| Re: Portis or Westbrook? Id rather have Portis. Portis is the better blocker, the better runner, and the better red zone threat. The only thing I think Westbrook does better is catch. I feel like Portis ran behind a worse line than Westbrook did last year, and if everyone is healthy on our O-line this year, I think Portis will have the better season. It would be cool having Westbrook be a skin though cause he went to high school in this area (I think Dematha in moco) |

| Re: Portis or Westbrook? Lol! What? So you don't covet Osi Umenuiryidsdkfj (Sp?), Brian Westbrook, DeMarcus Ware, Terrence Newman, Shaun Andrews?

| Re: Portis or Westbrook? then lets put santana moss at running back. Running Backs first priority is to run, 2nd is to catch, lets keep our priorities straight. Besides, Portis is pretty good catching the ball out of the backfield. |

| Re: Portis or Westbrook? When Westbrook goes down, the Eagles go down. When Clinton goes down, we don't necessarily. Westbrook is far more well rounded. Clinton may have the edge in agility. And CP definitely is a better blocker.

| Re: Portis or Westbrook? Portis. As good as westbrook is, he is not the everydown between the tackles november back CP is. If the Iggles could have run the ball they would have won and SB or two.....besides if we had west brook ....we would be the iggles =/ |

| Re: Portis or Westbrook? Amen to that. Back in the day, would you take Dorsett over Riggins? Not a chance. Brian Westbrook is a D.C. native and a damn good player though. If we had him, we wouldn't need to use his brother in preparation for the Eagles. It would also be cool to have another pair of brothers after having Nic and Chris Clemons, but I'm taking Clinton Portis. If the talent-level is close, I'm taking the guy who's already a Redskin. Portis is going to have a huge season in 2008. |

| Re: Portis or Westbrook? It would be, easily Westbrook in the past couple of years but if all indications are correct on how we are going to use Portis in the new offense, I think that I will have to go with Portis this coming season. |

| Re: Portis or Westbrook? I would rather have Portis just based off his thursday pre - game interviews. Also Westbrook is an Eagle, I can't just start pretending to like him for the sake of this board.

| Re: Portis or Westbrook? I don't think there's any question Westbrook has had the more accomplished career. I still love having Portis on our team though and don't think we need to compare him to other running backs who may or may not be better. He is one of the core personalities of the Gibbs II Redskins, and I expect he will have quite a role to play in the Zorn era as well. |
