| Re: Who would you trade for? I wouldn't get myself wrapped into a knot over a wide receiver's height. There was this guy named Jerry Rice and he wasn't 6'5" tall but he was kinda good. And Jim Zorn threw to another guy in Seattle - - some guy who wound up being a Congressman - - and he wasn't much over 6 feet tall. Would anyone here accept Hines Ward in DC as a Redskin? Geez, I don't know; he's awfully short... Pragmatically, the Redskins need a receiver who can: 1. Get open. 2. Catch the ball when it hits him in both hands. 3. Gain yards after the catch by breaking a tackle. 4. Block well on running plays - - every running play. It doesn't matter if this guy is tall; he just has to be effective at the WR position. The reason the Skins need such a player is that the ones they have at WR are only marginally effective at the position. None of the WRs on the roster at the moment can do all four of those things regularly. If I were the GM, I'd trade for either Roy Williams or Anquan Boldin in a heartbeat. They play hard every play and they aren't prima donnas. I would NOT trade for Chad Johnson because he represents a time bomb in the locker room. He may not go off and ruin things for the next year - - but he might do it after Game 2. NOT WORTH THE RISK.
