| Re: Rosenhaus Pleads With Cincy To Trade Johnson So what happens to a player's contract if he doesn't play at all? I know it still counts against the cap. Do they have to pay him anything? How much can they fine him? |

In addition the team may fine him up to $14,000 per day he is "AWOL" according to the current CBA. AND the team can go to arbitration to recover a pro-rata portion of his signing bonus/roster bonus too. Of course Rosenhaus wants Cincy to trade Johnson. Rosenhaus gets paid on the basis of a percentage of the contract he negotiates for his clients. Think about it...

In essence he has done what he said he would do but ....not done what he said he would do. ...I'm confused. Anyway as much as I wanted him and think he would make our team better we don't need someone who is undecided. |
