| Who Do You Think Will Be Traded? After an intriguing Day 1 of the draft that saw our Burgandy and Gold load up on talent for the west coast offense questions have already emerged about possible trades. Seems to be a consensus that Thrash, Mix and Mathis are out of the offense and possibly on the trading block. Maybe we keep one or two of these guys for special teams. But the real intrigue is whether Moss, ARE, or Cooley could be traded. I highly doubt that Cooley is going anywhere. Many of you have pointed out a two TE set could be implemented, which would give defenses a lot of trouble between these two phenoms. But ARE and Moss are a different story. Already I've heard rumblings about ARE, but I think it could be Moss instead. Moss has been more injury prone. He has shown sometimes bewilderingly poor hands (more on this later). But most of all he has displayed the most WR-like character, if you will, in terms of moodiness and attitude. Throughout last season's injuries and sub-par performances Moss seemed to have a "what can you do" attitude. And he's been the unquestioned #1 WR since arriving in Washington, making him the most likely to get ruffled by serious competition. And then there is the playoff loss to Seattle. With our current HC standing on the sidelines (the other side) Moss dropped several critical passes. But despite these criticisms, Moss likely holds greater trade value than ARE because of the few great seasons he's had, and that could make trading him (if a trade is being considered) more attractive. We have at least a few serious needs to address and not enough good picks to suffice. Moss may give us the DE, DT or offensive lineman that will save us from another year of trouble in the trenches.

| Re: Who Do You Think Will Be Traded? Not a chance Cooley or Moss gets traded. Thrash will stay for special teams...if anything, Mix and Mathis will be released if they don't perform well in training camp. My guess will be that Mix will not make the roster and will be signed to the practice squad. Mathis may be let go so he can make another roster. Seeing two WRs taken in the draft so far, shows that the Skins are looking for a big play compliment to Santana....so saying that he could be traded, is out of the realm of possibility. Chris Cooley will not be traded. |

| Re: Who Do You Think Will Be Traded? I put my money on Mix making the team plus I bet he is pretty upset at the fact that the Redskins seem not to trust him enough not to pick two WR's in the same round of the draft. |

| Re: Who Do You Think Will Be Traded? I think that none of the three will get traded. Moss has done a lot for us since he has been here and probably the only reason we made it to the playoffs in '05. ARE runs the greater risk of being traded but he will not. Last year, he stepped up and looked more like a #1 receiver than Moss did. His punt returner sucks though which is why we brought in Mathis. Cooley just got a new contract is isn't going anywhere anytime soon, period. I think Jim Zorn will find a way to get these 5 guys (Moss, ARE, Cooley, Thomas, Kelly) involved in this wet coast offense. |

| Re: Who Do You Think Will Be Traded? Why would we need to trade anyone? I would have thought if we were going to make a trade we would have mentioned it to the Bungles back when we made the offer for Chad. |

| Re: Who Do You Think Will Be Traded? Mix out? No way! Didn't you guys see the play in the Seattle game when the kickoff bounced to him and he caught it? He's a special teams ace |

| Re: Who Do You Think Will Be Traded? Oh brother. Here we go already making trades after yesterdays draft. Come on. The WCO needs tools. So we got them addressed. Now we move on to the rest of our needs thru today's draft and June casulties. |

| Re: Who Do You Think Will Be Traded? Who gives a crap if Mix is upset? Need I remind people that he has 3 NFL catches? Replacing him will be 2 2nd round draft picks. I hope he does get mad and proves everybody that he is all the sudden a phenomenal football palyer despite his ENTIRE track record. But I guess the Mix bandwagon will keep on trucking. |

| Re: Who Do You Think Will Be Traded? WCO need these players, they are going no wheres. just think about it.. if we were to throw out a 4 or 5 receiver set. what would it have looked like last year.. compared to when we throw that same formation out this year.

| They all get traded. Teams are giving away entire drafts to get wr's right now. There just aren't any quality wr's looking to be traded so it would be simple to get a couple #1 picks for Moss and probably a young Pro Bowl DE for ARE. And the $13 million cap hit we take trading Cooley is easily offset by Brett Favre coming out of retirement to play for vet minimum. These are all depth picks, not immediate starters. Of course, if Thomas kicks ass in training camp and looks like Randy Moss in preseason then I guess we have a new #1.

| Re: Who Do You Think Will Be Traded? It looks to me like Mix will be given a chance to compete and try to make the team. But he may have been brought on more so to give the impression to other teams that we werent as desperate for receivers as we apparently are. Thus enabling us to trade down, and still get the 1st or 2nd best receiver in the draft.

| Re: Who Do You Think Will Be Traded? the answer is....................NOBODY! Moss and Randle el will stay. Cooley doesnt even need to be mentioned as trades go. by week 10. Moss on one side, Thomas/Kelly the other, Randle el in the slot. Cooley at TE. Davis for double TE sets. the non Thomas/Keely starter as 4th receiver. ARE can concentrate more on punt returns. Thrash may or can stay because he's a special teams guy. Mix, released! Mathis, released!. Thrash, Caldwell, McCardell. those were 3,4,5 last year. Wait to you see what Jason does with these guys. Ceratto knows what he's doing. He'll add some depth in later rounds. and next year maybe concentrate on defense. We may have set our receiving core for 2010, 2011, 2012. |

| Re: Who Do You Think Will Be Traded? Nobody will get traded. It took 2 people to replace Lloyd. After all he was a key loss if you look on the ESPN line during the draft.
