ND Kalu out for the year http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=1861442 this hurts their already fairly weak passrush and will allow more double teams against kearse. Kalu has always been a guy I wish we had kept around even though he jumped into bed with the enemy cuz he was the closest thing we've had to a pass rush in the past 5-6 years or so except for Arrington.

I agree. Seems like he drew a few flags early on for ruffin the passer but thats because he had the QB in his sight and was commited to takin him down. I was also sorry to see him go to the Dark Side.

He's the second player for them to go down for the season. Perry, the rookie running back from Maryland, got hurt in their game against the Pats. They had hoped for him to back up Buck and Westbrook. Kalu's injury really hurts their pass rush.

the eagles whole defense aside from kearse, dawkins, simon and lewis this season is pretty weak. First time starters at corner, linebackers are average at best. the d line was the strong point, but with kalu gone, the defense is not the dominant force it once was.

| the fins defense lacks a lot of stars this year, but technically they have always lacked stars at their positions. Johnson is a defensive genious, he knows what to call, adn how to be aggressive. He makes peopel stars all the time, and then in free agency they get let go and become bums. He knows how to work to peopel strengths and even though on paper the eagles d looks weak this year im going to assume they are still going to bring it. I hope we crush them both times we play them, but johnson has done a great job with their d and has always had them make plays.
