Yep, very nice thing for Phillips to do in honor of Taylor. I wish him the best of luck in his career but I won't be rooting for him when he plays us.

Sean Taylor was quickly on his way to becoming my favorite Redskin of all time. His death devastated me. Any player from his alma mater playing his position and honoring him in that way gets a gold star from me. I don't want to see the guy dominate the Skins of course, but I certainly don't wish Archuleta status on him. Although I do hope he has plenty of Archuleta moments when he's playing against us.

The thing that really hit me was that when I went to bed that night, I heard Taylor would probably pull through -- then woke up to a breaking report that he passed. I couldn't believe it.

How can you say that?? He's crushed just like all of us were when ST was killed. He probably has a closer bond to him then we all did. I wish the guy the luck, except twice a year.

I agree. Great gesture but I hope he is awful. My desire for him to suck is irrelevant to my admiration for the gesture. I can like the guy but hope he blows with a clear mind.
