Jason Taylor wants to be traded! Should we...

Do you think that trading for a "stop-gap" player like Jason would be a temporary solution for the Skins at RDE?

He may be past his prime, but he still performs at a super high level, has scored 8 defensive touchdowns, has had over 8 sacks 9 out of the 11 years with Miami, and has only missed 4 games in his career. Now that the draft is over and we have used all of our picks, I can see the possibility of bringing him here and then drafting a young guy to learn under him before he retires to dance some more...lol.

What do u guys think? Is he worth it? What is he worth?

I'd go as high as a 2nd rounder for Taylor. All other picks below may have to be packaged with a player, and I do not have any suggestions on who I would trade or who the Dolphins need.

Really?

A few guidelines for the mass of old players that are going to get released somewhere along the line, and whether or not we should bring them in.

1. If the player is old as dirt don't bother.
2. If the player is washed up don't bother.
3. If the player doesn't address an area of need like LB don't bother.

I would not trade him for our first day pick, not even 3rd rd.. 4th rd or later, I would be fine with it.. He would be only temporary solution - not worth to waste a pick on..
