| NFL radio on Sirius Is it just me or are 99% of the callers downright horrible?! I can't get over the amount of callers who don't know basic things about their teams. I heard a Steelers fan the other day and he didn't even realize that Bettis had retired. I think they would be better off taking less calls because most of them are mind numbingly dumb. |

I wonder if the call-in format is used primarily to relive the hosts of prep work, since they can just allow the calls to dictate what they talk about rather than actually having a detailed plan for the show.

| Re: NFL radio on Sirius I think 90% of the callers are truck drivers driving cross country, which could acct for the abysmal call quality. Overall, I love that channel. And as much as people here seem to hate him, Peter King has been a nice addition to the morning show with Bob Papa (sp?) and Randy Cross. But Tim and Pat's show is sooooo much better than that other Adam Schein and Solomon Wilcotts garbage that used to be on for the afternoon drive.

| Re: NFL radio on Sirius Adam Schein is awful. I hate how he over-enunciates stuff like 'Sirius NFL Radioooooo' and that stupid "BRING IT!" shit. Last edited by Mattyk; 06-04-2008 at 05:37 PM. |

| Re: NFL radio on Sirius It's a shame because I like Wilcots. He brings a players perspective and is occasionally insightful but Schein is just so hard to listen to and stomach.

| Re: NFL radio on Sirius the thing that kills me about schein is his ridiculous "radio announcer guy" voice that he refuses to give up. It's painful. Agree that Wilcots is pretty solid.

| Re: NFL radio on Sirius Adam Schein - "we go to Papa Falcon in Atlanta!. WHAT'S UP PAPA!!!!!" I couldn't stand Schein at first, but his shtick is so bad that it's good. Solomon Wilcotts and Jim Miller seem like cool dudes. I can tell Miller likes the Redskins. Gil Brandt just phones it in. I can't tell the rest of the guys apart from one another. Sirius NFL radio is what I listen to when Howard Stern is on a commercial break. |

| Re: NFL radio on Sirius Glad I'm not the only one who can't stand Adam Schein. If he would vary his comments once in a while, it would go a long way (how many "simply outstanding" hours of broadcast radio on Sirius NFL network can he have?). Every single intro is a repeat of every other one. He seems to be getting more responsibilities, so I thought maybe it was just me who was annoyed by him. Pat Kirwan is great, Gil Brandt is excellent (even given his Cowboys ties). However, this off-season is way too long. I can't wait to get back into actual and fantasy football!!! |

| Re: NFL radio on Sirius just my 2 cents here, it's not just NFL radio, NASCAR radio is the same way...I think the call screeners filter out the intelligent callers to make the radio hosts look good.
