| Colts without Manning for 6 weeks Sounds like he'll be fine for the season but still, a little scary for the Colts ESPN - Manning has infected bursa sac removed from left knee - NFL |

At least I got to see him get his ass kicked by the Skins during a Sunday Night Game a few years back. The other great thing about that game was that they had most of the 70 greatest Redskins on the field at halftime. IT was a fun night. Now all we have to look forward to is seeing our D manhandle that human-bobbblehead Jim Sorgi.

| Re: Colts without Manning for 6 weeks Yeah because he's not like Tomlinson who just skips preseason altogether. Manning always takes a couple series in each preseason game as a tune up. I see no reason why the Colts would treat this any differently than normal preseason games. Of course now he'll ride the pine no matter what.

| Re: Colts without Manning for 6 weeks He had his jaw broken against the Fins(?) a few years back. I believe he missed the rest of that game, but he played the next one. So, it depends upon your definition of "injured." If you mean he hasn't missed games, you're correct, if you mean nothing has ever happened to him, that's false. Link

| Re: Colts without Manning for 6 weeks Favre wants to be the starter, so no way he goes to the Colts. I doubt we would see Manning play in the HOF game, I think it'd be too risky.

| Re: Colts without Manning for 6 weeks I think they've been around long enough that it won't hurt as much as it would say if it was JC that had to miss 6 weeks before the start of the season. Once Peyton comes back it will be a week or two and he'll probably be back to his old self.
