Hazing not beneficial to rookies - Sports - inRich.com

Lol, looks like Jansen's still upset about that App State loss. Regardless the new head coach will ban the hazing of rookies at camp. Don't know though how that affects Browns equipment carrying duties (ESPN College Football Live). Either way I hope Brown makes the team.

I would be pissed too if some assclown who gets injured every year then sits at champps babling his mouth off about nothing made me carry his crap. Maybe when Jansen carries his own load he can then appoint others to carry his. Dudes a loser.

Yeah... "Jensen" isn't even on a pro football team. Not only has he not proven himself but he hasn't even ever shown up for training camp or made the team once. Not one Jensen in the NFL.
Wait, did you mean Jon Jansen who has been the RT starter since 1999, been a 3 time team captain and was an All Pro in 2005? Yeah, he sucks.

Lol, yeah I just wanted to put the Kerry Brown carrying Jansen's equipment as retribution for the App State-Michigan upset out there. Personally I thought it was hillarious. The Hazing article was added to give the joke a sense of irony. I kind of regret not putting this in the off topic section though. Especially since I'm very critical of threads myself.

Oh yeah, also wanted to get some support going for Kerry Brown to make the team with Crummy. That way we could have a backup/preseason O-Line with Wade, Rhinehart, Crummy, Brown, and Heyer.

Yeah definitely. I mean i saylet them do what they want as long as no one gets hurt. I mean i remember when Lavar blinded sean taylor with the shaving cream, that was messed up. But carrying peoples pads is not a big deal. But i guess what the coach says goes.

I agree some hazing rituals are taken to far. Personally I've never been a part of hazing but I've heard some stories. For example theres a branch of the military where newly promoted officers of a certain rank (at a certain base) get beat down for a month. If they choose not to go through with it they end up getting frozen out, and many times are passed up for new promotions not to mention the fact that no one talks to them.

Things however like the hazing that Patrick Ramsey and Sean Taylor (assuming his eye doesn't get hurt) went through are fine in my opinion and the singing at lunch seems pretty inocent to me.

I wish there was an idiot filter you could download and install to help moderate some of these threads. Since he was drafted in 1999, Jansen has been a rock on the right-side of the Redskins offensive line and (I believe) is our most senior player.

The guy has contended with some serious injury problems in the past few years but has been one of our most consistent players over the past eight years.
