Looks like the Redskins must like Kerry Brown alot. They probably realized he would not make it to the practice squad and this way they can keep him. I am happy to see it. Alfred Fincher was a third round draft choice of the Saints. He never realy worked out for them. They released him in November last year. He had a short stint in the Lions training camp, apparently that did not work out realy well.

Search the CTC NFL tickets marketplace for Redskins tickets, cheap Jets tickets, Packers tickets, sold out Steelers tickets, Chiefs tickets and premium Giants tickets. We also carry Nationals tickets, Washington Capitals tickets and Washington Wizards tickets.

Thats great and sneaky at the same time. However Brown was one of the guys that I wanted to make the team along with Crummey. That way we would have four capable young O-Lineman ready to fill in along the line (Heyer, Crummey, Brown, and Rhinehart).

Well, I was hoping the same thing, and it looks like we are going to get our wish. We need a back up center and if you beleive the depth chart, Crummey is that guy. If that is true then he is a lock. This way we get all of them and can still keep a veteran like Fabini or Wade. Hopefully Fabini and they cut Wade. I say that because I think that Wade is less versatile, only playing tackle.

Are you sure about that? The CBA makes the practice squad a year-by-year provision ("(a) The League may elect in any League Year in accordance with this Article to establish practice squads not to exceed eight players per Club. The League’s election in any one season shall not determine or affect its election in any subsequent season.") but I just can't imagine what utility you would gain from cutting practice squads, seems like it is in the interest of all teams to have them. Just curious if that was really the case and if so why the NFL would have elected to cut practice squads. Maybe you are thinking about the cutting of NFLE exemptions for training camps and the reduced roster limits? Just curious.

Sarcasm is obvious, and if it is made that way, then people might understand the text better.
