| Re: Impressive rookies I was impressed with Rob Jackson and further ipressed that Jason Taylor has been impressed with him during practice and thinks this kid has potential to be a very good DE. |

That is good news. I like Brooks. Pulling for this kid to win the job.

What's up w/Boschetti playing so much at de? they must've been really short of players. He did a good job but I can't imagine they'd keep him at DE.

| Re: Impressive rookies I think Jackson is fighting with wilson for the last DE spot. Projected DE: Taylor, Carter, Evans, Jackson. this year I think Wilson makes Practice Squad. |

| Re: Impressive rookies Redskins Insider and/or Zorn apparently think Mason has a chance to make the roster this year: "The Skins have a load of running backs, but Zorn continues to rave about [Mason] and thinks there could be a roster spot for the youngster who spent last year on the practice squad."

| Re: Impressive rookies I thought the offensive line was the most improved unit over last year. The rookies look great all around, and the play calling was super. |

| Re: Impressive rookies One things or sure. They're doing a great job with the run blocking, but at the same time some of them seem to struggle during pass protection. Nothing to bad and the good news is that it's taking place later in the game.

| Re: Impressive rookies I hate to speculate too much but Chris Horton might have some issues with this colon infection that he has. I guess lets hope its just somthing that he can get over completly and not somthing thats going to limit him this season. Also excellent verb choice by Zorn: "grated on him" -- HORTON BACK Chris Horton developed a colon infection last week and he missed Saturday's preseason game against the Bills. Horton returned to practice on Monday, but remained limited in work. "It has been a prolonged [ailment] and it has really grated on him," Jim Zorn said. The team is expected to work him back into the lineup and he could be available to play in this Saturday's preseason game. | I can't wait until Saturday's game with the Jets! I hope all the rookies keep playing as well as they have in the first two games. I want to see Horton again, as well as the second string offensive line. I'm kind of surprised that Brennan will be the fourth quarterback in for the Redskins. | Re: Impressive rookies I thought Tryon played his worse game of the season. I am suprised that there were'nt more people bashing him. I tried to overlook last week, but he was bad this week, on many plays. I think Richardson will move ahead of him on the depth chart. |

| Re: Impressive rookies I won't hold back. Tryon was a bad pick at $4 round. He has sucked in game 1, 2 and 3. Richardson should make the roster over Tryon easily,

| Re: Impressive rookies Andrew Crummey and Justin Goode will be tough to cut....I hope we can keep them somehow. As far as Tryon goes, he has been disappointing. I'm not counting him out though, he has two games left to show what he's got. |

| Re: Impressive rookies My assumption is, both will earn PS squad. Problem Goode has is Cooley, Davis, and Yoder facing him.
