Engrave the Lombardi Trophy Now, The Patriots sign The Ade

PATRIOTS ADD JIMOH, BOLSTER SECONDARY
The New England Patriots signed veteran cornerback Ade Jimoh on Wednesday to bolster a position that has been depleted by injuries and free agent losses.

Jimoh played four seasons with the Washington Redskins after being signed in 2003 as a rookie free agent. He signed with the Chicago Bears in 2007, but was placed on the injured reserve list in November with a broken collarbone.
The 6-foot-1, 187-pounder has 28 career tackles and 68 special teams tackles.
Cornerbacks Ellis Hobbs, Jason Webster, Mike Richardson and Jonathan Wilhite all sat out the Patriots' first preseason game last week. The team lost Pro Bowler Asante Samuel and Randall Gay to free agency.
To make room for Jimoh on the roster, the Patriots released offensive lineman Pete McMahon.

NOOOOOOO!!!!!! Really, the Pats and any team in our division are the last places I wanted to see him go.

I miss Ade.

Yeah, amazing thread title I must agree. I think all you huge Ade fans should be happy he landed in NE. Now that Samuel and Gay are gone he has a legit chance at making 3rd CB. Time for him to strut his stuff a bit.

Did you guys hear that Pat players said that Asanta Samual laid down in the SB because his contract was up? Not sure who it was but they pointed out the two int's he should have caught.

That's a pretty strong statement. I wonder who said that?

That doesn't make sense though. If his contract was up, wouldn't he want to have an amazing Super Bowl to bolster his value?

WHAT AN EXCITING DEVELOPMENT!

THE ADE gives the Pats a truly unfair advantage and I don't see how they won't go 19-0 this year now. Plus, now Moss gets to lineup against an all-Pro like THE ADE every day so it'll make him that much better.

Congrats to THE ADE!

6'1" and 187 pounds? Ade, try the Michael Phelps diet before you get snapped into two Jimohs.
