Evans makes it because of his experience value over either of the Tryon/Richadson loser. Also, I could see Jackson making the team and James going on IR depending on his performance.

I'm with this one, except I haven't seen a whole lot out of Davis yet. That's not to say in time he won't be #2.

| Re: Your final 53 Lets start with the guys we know are making the team: Campbell, Collins, Brennan Portis, Betts, Cartwright Sellers Moss, Randle El, Thrash, Kelly, D. Thomas Cooley, Yoder, Davis Samuels, Jansen, Kendall, R. Thomas, Rabach, Heyer, Fabini, Rinehart 23 on offense Suisham, Brooks or Frost, Albright J. Taylor, Carter, Griffin, Golston, Montgomery, Evans McIntosh, Fletcher, Washington, Blades Springs, Smoot, Rogers, Torrence Landry, Doughty 16 on defense Okay, so the offense should be a lot easier to figure out than the defense. They don't need anything more at any specific position, so I'm guessing they keep Mason and Geisinger to make 25 players on offense. If they keep another WR, I think Mix gets the nod, but if he's not healthy enough to play in the last preseason game, they will open with 5 WRs. Defense is much more wide open, obviously. I'm starting to think that they are only going to keep 5 linebackers...they just haven't made much of an effort to improve the position. Alfred Fincher stays, the rest go. On the DL, I could see them keeping up to ten, with Alexander and Boschetti reinforcing the tackles, and Erasmus James and Rob Jackson adding some additional situational pass rushers to the mix. This opens the door for ten members of the secondary to be on the 53 man roster. The team will be able to give Justin Tryon more time to develop without forcing him to be active, and they will be able to keep Richardson at the beginning of the season, along with the other 5 corners. Richardson may not finish the year with the team, but I think he'll be on it Week One. The rookies Kareem Moore and Chris Horton will fill out the roster at safety, with Vernon Fox on the wrong side of the bubble.

| Re: Your final 53 Rob Jackson on the Practice Squad scares me. He can be picked up to any team's roster from there, right? I'm sure he'll be gone. I say we keep him on the roster and take a chance. Or trade him to the Patriots for THE ADE! |

(Then again, we'd solidify the secondary with a Shut-Down corner and Special Teams Deamon). Practice squad it is!

| Re: Your final 53 So, nobody thinks that Wade makes the cut? Even with Geisinger and Crummey being able to be put on the practice squad and Zorn's comments about needing veteran depth on the o-line? Just wondering? GTRIPP, I agree about Fincher. The guy is always around the ball. Now that Alexanders back is hurting it makes it even more likely.
