1. I don't like seeing anybody get hurt. 2. He was on my fantasy team. 3. The Giant fans (at least the ones I know) were really cool last year during the whole Sean Taylor situation so I hate seeing something bad happen to them.

| Re: Osi Done For The Year I don't really understand why you guys let Kiwanuka get away. He had a very solid year for you, and the Bills didn't give him a ridiculous contract. You should have resigned him.

| Re: Osi Done For The Year I would rather beat a team w/their best players, and I wish all the players could stay as healthy as players in other sports, but that's not the way it is. I thought the g-men would struggle this year before this happened, now it looks even more like they're on course for a tough year. They do have good depth w/Kiawanuka & Tuck at DE, those guys are much better than most teams' starting DEs, but Osi is probably their MVP. Huge loss for them, but based on last night's game, they're still good enough to beat us in 11 days. |

Plus they're in the New York media circus... I could see them having a very average year. And that's fine.

| Re: Osi Done For The Year Wait a minute, Kiwanuka still plays for the Giants. You guys are talking about Kawika Mitchell. He's a linebacker. |

| Re: Osi Done For The Year That was Kiwaku (sp?) Mitchell. I used to get them confused all the time, as well. I was talking about Mathias Kiwanuka. He was drafted last year (or the year before) as a DE. Last season, they moved him to OLB.

| Re: Osi Done For The Year Bad deal for the Giants. We're lucky that Jason Taylor isn't in the same situation. As much as I dislike the rest of the NFC east I wish him a full recovery.

i think all he was trying to say is that each team has a few sparkplug type players and it seems as if the giants are losing those type players, whether it be to retirement, trade or injury. thats 3 players that first come to mind when one thinks of the giants, plaxico and eli would be two more who come to mind. taylor will miss 10-14 days with a sprained knee.

Tough deal for Osi, big blow for the G-Men's D. I must say that given how our o-line played yesterday, I was dreading us playing against the G-Men's d-line. I'm sure they will still harrass our o-line, but with Osi out it just won't be the same. I'll be curious to know what NY is going to to do.
