| Re: When will Jansen go? yeah if the league goes uncapped...it will never get capped again and thats the sad thing. I DO think the league is flawed in the rookie pay. Still, there their needs to be a happy medium |

Zorn flat out said, "Heyer has a chance right now to compete for the starting position, but I'm not giving up on John Jansen yet." That to me translates to "John, step it up or it's over for you as a starter."

Heyer held up pretty well last season when he was thrown into the fire and we've seen Jansen get beaten badly in '06 and this preseason he was pretty awful. If he can provide depth at another spot (LG) as well as RT that just makes us a little deeper and gives some roster flexibility if necessary.
