Really disagree on the playcalling. We were moving the ball well early we just were blowing it in the redzone. The difference in the 2nd half was we cashed in and didn't blow scoring chances.

Re: Redskins vs. Saints game thread

see i guess keep running it up the middle on short and they put 8-10 in the box ... great call. i think even if we didnt make it , a fg attemp.. would have put them in great field position if missed at that long. a punt might not have given any better position.. so was a ballsy call but good.. i think if they hadnt put 8 in the box they would have called a to and punted probably.. but its moot and a W is a W.. and feels great............ I still don't see the logic. If you snap with 2-5 seconds on the clock, the D can't jump the snap, and the 2 min warning would have stopped the clock at 2:00 or less after a run play anyway?

It's academic now, and it's not on a par with JG's double TO blunder, but...

Play of the game right there. He did a great job at staying alive and keeping his focus down the field and topped it off with a great throw.

Re: Redskins vs. Saints game thread

I don't think Campbell looked any more comfortable than he did on last Thursday, but he succeeded for two main reasons:

1) We exploited a key matchup in the Saints secondary over and over again.

2) The offensive line dominated the entire game.

It's amazing what we can accomplish when we dominate up front and Campbell has time to pick them to pieces. It wasn't just in that fourth quarter either. The OL dominated the ENTIRE game. Campbell just found his rhythm around the fourth quarter.

Not to brag but I think I called it before the game started. Somehow you could just fell that horton would have a good game. Of course a lot of it was due to tip balls. I'll have to watch again to see how he did on coverage and running plays.

True, it's a team effort and often we get too focused on just the QB.
