| Re: Looking at the schedule... It's obvious Philly can't punch it in the endzone w/o Westbrook. We need to shutdown their rookie wr like we did with TO and our chances are good to come out with a win in Philly. 7-1 is definitly doable the way this team is playing. |

You never want to go down the path of counting wins. It will just end up making you pissed off as a fan when they drop a game they are supposed to win. Now, I feel optimistic because we have a veteran squad that has been under Gibbs for several years and Gibbs was pretty good at preaching humility and winning winnable games. I think Zorn has continued that approach so we should be in good shape. However the claims of going '7-1' or even '6-2' are just far-fetched at this point. How about, "I think we have a great chance of winning this Sunday at Philly!" | |

| Re: Looking at the schedule... Just to tack on to my last point, we have stayed relatively healthy and played near mistake-free football - AND we have been winning by small margins. Now the latter point has a lot to do with execution but the injuries issue is a bit more haphazard. So what happens when things start going wrong for us, as they inevitably will at some point over the 16-game season? That's another question that needs to be considered before we start claiming '7-1'. |

| Re: Looking at the schedule... Don't like the Rams coming to DC following a bye with the new head coach. And hated to see Dallas and Philly back-to-back; on the road too! But I do like having all three division teams coming to FedExField during the second half of the season. |

I am scared more of this game than the Philly game to be honest. I don't really mind if we lose against the Eagles, but losing versus the Rams would not be good.

| Re: Looking at the schedule... I'm WAY more scared of Philly's D than the Cowboy's D. They are generating a lot of sacks and I'm pretty sure their coverage is a lot better than the Cowboys. That being said, the Cowboys put a lot of points up on them too (and Bears INCLUDING the end zone INT by Orton) so I really don't know how to feel.

| Re: Looking at the schedule... If we can get a W this weekend in Philly I'll start to feel pretty optimistic about this season and our schedule. But after the choke act we pulled in 96' I won't start counting our chickens until they hatch ever again.
