| Re: How do you like the Redskins start sitting at 4-1 after 5 games 10 wins isn't going to lock up the playoffs this year. Not in the NFC at least.

| Re: How do you like the Redskins start sitting at 4-1 after 5 games PFT.com, Puts the SKINS in the leagues 'elite' ranks....huh. I'm surprised they can figure all this science out. LOL REDSKINS ROAR BACK Posted by Mike Florio on October 5, 2008, 3:34 p.m. Proving that they’re among the league’s elite teams, the Washington Redskins have crawled out of an early 14-point hole, scoring 23 straight points to lead the Eagles in Philly. A win would push the ‘Skins to 4-1, and would drop the Eagles to 2-3. It also would cap a stunning two-Sunday tour of the NFC East for the ‘Skins, in which they won on the road against the Cowboys and Eagles. Washington’s remaining three division games will be played at home. Clinton Portis has 135 rushing yards and counting, and tight end Chris Cooley is over 100 yards receiving. Each have scored a touchdown.

| Re: How do you like the Redskins start sitting at 4-1 after 5 games Confidence is a funny thing...You play so much better than you may be when you have it. The problem is, that you play much worse than you really are when you loose it. We are playing with so much confidence right now that it's difficult to know how good we really are. Don't get me wrong, I love the way the Skins are playing right now. We are a physically dominant team that is doing what it wants, when it wants, no matter what the other team does. My only concern is that 6 short weeks ago we had NO clue as to what kind of team we were and we played with zero confidence. I'm sure you all remember how depressing the coming season looked like back then! I just hope the Skins are not thinking about how "easy" the next few oponents seem to be and how nice 7-1 would be at the half-way split. The easiest way to loose confidence and slip back into playing bad football is to look past lesser teams or to dream about a record that's three weeks and 3 games away. If we play poorly at home and loose, all the great play in Dallas and Philly these last two weeks will be wasted. If we are a playoff team, we need to take care of business against lesser competition and especially at home. I love the attitude this team is playing with right now and I credit Zorn for everything this team has shown thus far. If they continue to listen to him and work to improve each game, no matter who we are playing, this has the potential to be a really exciting year. God knows all of us Skins fans have waited long enough for one of those. Oldskin |

| Re: How do you like the Redskins start sitting at 4-1 after 5 games I understand what you're saying, but I have a feeling if we start feeling overconfident, Zorn will put the ones feeling that way in their place. He can chew rear-ends with the best of them. |

| Re: How do you like the Redskins start sitting at 4-1 after 5 games I know it's still relatively young in the season, but I'm lovin this stomping on the Eagles and Cowboys at their place... wow! How the defense as played with young players contributing....fantastic! JC, Portis, Moss , Cooley ...great! As fans after what we went through last year (RIP ST) we couldn't ask for much more, except for a long Giant losing streak. |

| Re: How do you like the Redskins start sitting at 4-1 after 5 games I don't think he should've been pulled in the first place. Jansen had his struggles and his injuries but for me, he didn't do anything to prove he wasn't starting material. I think it was a knee jerk reaction to throw a 2nd year player into a starting role. I believe Jansen still has gas in the tank and Heyer provides strong depth.

| Re: How do you like the Redskins start sitting at 4-1 after 5 games In the HUGE WIN today JC breaks a JT record: Posted at 8:15 PM ET, 10/ 5/2008 Campbell Breaks a Theismann Mark From Jason Reid: Quarterback Jason Campbell has set a Redskins record, throwing 175 consecutive passes without an interception. Joe Theismann held the previous mark with 161 passes in 1983. "To be honest about it, I didn't even know," Campbell said. "It really doesn't matter to me individually, but the good thing about it is what it means for the team. "It means we're holding onto the ball. We're taking care of the ball as an offense. That's definitely good right now."

| Re: How do you like the Redskins start sitting at 4-1 after 5 games I think I heard that Campbell set a Redskins franchise record today for most consecutive passes without an interception. That's awesome.
