| Re: Snyder's Possible Head Coach Smokescreen True. If he wanted a fill-in, he could've picked up any of us for $50,000.

if so why do you think they didnt give him the head coaching position right away, I meen if he impressed them why not and if he didnt impress them why did they offer it to him. i suppose its possible they wanted somebody to fail but like somebody else said 15 million is a lot for a seat warmer plus i dont think that snyder would play a game like that. If he really wanted cowher i think he would have gotten him this year or moved on to another candidate. | |

The idea that Danny would totally tank a PLAYOFF team for a year with the hope of getting Bill Cowher is ridiculous. If he would do such a thing he would fall right into the same category of the William Clay Ford's and Al Davis' of the league. No way. Just lock this thing.

| Re: Snyder's Possible Head Coach Smokescreen I thought I remember reading an article that stated that the reason Zorn got the head coaching job was that Synder and Vinny were very impressed with Zorn and were worried about him being offered a head coaching job in a year or two and losing him. Image if Zorn was still the offensive coordinator and were 4 and 1. He probably would be in the talks for a head coaching job, just from the turn around this offense has made. And there are a lot of vacancies this year.
