| I agree, Williams said he went with experience. I sense he is the kind of guy that will try to stick with Lott for a while now, because of the day he had. Also, Taylor said he had no idea why he wasnt playing, other then the sick thing. That didnt sound like someone who missed a team meeting to me, wouldnt he remember that? |

| I mean give the kid a break he was benched for whatever reason. But when he was picking off passes and making tackles, forcing fumbles everyone was like this guy is great, and I love him, best move the redskins made skipping KWII and taking him. Now I hear, grow up, he got burned by galloway. I know he will be somthing special because one he is a play maker and two he has the coaches that will teach him how to play the game of Football. |

| I wondered! I wondered where ST was! I only heard his name once. I watched a good bit of the post-game show with HOF Coach Gibbs, and a snippet from Smoot and Dock, but not the whole thing. No one mentioned it. I read it this am in the Washpost.com.

| Matty: If Taylor did indeed miss a meeting, that is the reason he did not play. There may also have been some complex stuff that Williams planned to call that he felt needed more experience back there. But if he missed a meeting, that is the reason he did not start. That is the way Joe Gibbs operated for all his years here; I refuse to believe he changed that part of his coaching philosophy.

| Again, I totally agree, curmudgeon. Vintage Gibbs. And if it was planned for him to be benched, it is also vintage Gibbs that he would have prepared him for it well ahead of time. We would not have seen him upset on the sidelines. But as I said before, it will be a POSITIVE in the long run. It will help in a positive way with his maturation. Gibbs is brilliant at handling and developing players.

| I love how the staff is handling this. By not commenting or leaking, they are disciplining him without disrespecting him. |

Perhaps he was, or maybe because he was sick and missed a meeting he lost out on some valuable gameplanning and Williams decided he just wasn't prepared enough to go out and play. That's the feeling I get, I just didn't want to jump on Taylor for missing a meeting when he maybe had a legit reason for it. | |

| The coaches should tell Taylor he's lucky he's not playing for Tom Coughlin |
